Press Room

MEDIA ADVISORY: May 24, 2004

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The International Association for Regression Research and Therapies (IARRT) will present its 24th annual International Conference at the Antlers Adam’s Mark Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO, July 1- 4, 2004.

The conference theme: “Spiritual Revolutionaries: Evidence of Reincarnation” will present such notable researchers as:

Walter Semkiw, MD, Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited. Drawing on the cases of dozens of prominent and influential American cultural and literary figures today, Dr. Semkiw establishes their Revolutionary times identity. Continuities in facial appearance, personal interests, and even writing style are giveaways to linking a present-day figure with someone from the Revolutionary era, he says. May 11, 2004 Walter Semkiw, MD, was a featured guest on George Noory's “Coast to Coast AM” Radio Program . www.coasttocoastam.com Dr. Semkiw is a Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician and serves as the Assistant Chief of Occupational Medicine at a major medical center in San Francisco.

Raymond A. Moody, Ph.D, M.D., author, researcher and teacher: Life After Loss is bound to become a classic, like his 10 million best seller Life After Life. Dr. Moody’s new book details both the distressing signs and symptoms of the grieving process and the inspiring, transformational experiences that grief can bring about.

Peter Novak, author, The Lost Secret of Death: Our Divided Souls and the Afterlife. The Lost Secret of Death is a must read by every soul searching person and metaphysician. For far too long, people have been misled into believing that soul and spirit were synonymous. Peter has done an excellent example of research on the subject. The Binary Soul Doctrine Theory is an outstanding synthesis!

The Four-Day Program includes:

§ Keynote Speakers listed above,

§ Two "Meet the Author" panels, a discussion panel: Past Life Recall: Literal Memory or Symbolic Identification? Authors and researchers, Janet Cunningham; PhD; Hans tenDam, PLT; Dianne Seaman, PhD; Lyn Saunders, PhD will speak.

§ And seventeen 2½ -hour workshops Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 2 - 4.

BACKGROUND:

April 15, 2004, a childhood memory reincarnation case was aired on ABC Primetime Thursday. This case involves a little boy, James Leininger, who spontaneously recalled a past lifetime as a WWII fighter pilot who was killed in action. James gave his parents enough information that this past lifetime was historically validated. For more information, go to:

Past Life Research expert, IARRT member and author, Carol Bowman (Children’s Past Lives and Return to Heaven) was interviewed. Her research has stood the scrutiny of time and many past life researcher’s reviews. Based on her studies and experiences working with children who recall details from other times, she believes this boy’s story is credible.

Following its report, ABC provided a message board for listeners to discuss the merits of the show…several hundred messages were posted. Many people related their own similar experiences. To others, the ‘Primetime’ coverage might appear to be a case of the media ‘sensationalizing’ an unexplained occurrence based on a child’s vivid imagination.

May 22, 2004 ABC News reported research at the University of Arizona has proven that spiritual healing works.

The IARRT Conference, announced above, will provide an opportunity to examine this kind of incident from a variety of angles, in order to draw one’s own conclusions regarding this intriguing and controversial topic. For more information, visit:
