Mr. Scheinberg is a psychotherapist with twenty-six years experience in private practice helping children, adults, couples and families. He is the director of Sunrise Counseling Center in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York, which he founded in 1993, and which now has a staff of fifteen clinical practitioners.
In addition to being a human resources specialist for community organizations, employee assistance programs and managed care insurance companies, Mr. Scheinberg continues to serve as a seminar and workshop leader locally and as a business consultant outside of New York State.
Mr. Scheinberg has participated in many hours of professional development to enhance and advance his clinical repertoire of skills, including psychic development, remote viewing and Certification in Hypnosis for Past Life Regression by the Dr. Brian Weiss Institute.
Mr. Scheinberg also maintains an ongoing interest in mind-body and healing therapies; he is a certified Reiki practitioner and Reconnective healing practitioner.
Lately, Mr. Scheinberg has announced a recent book release, titled Turning Trauma into Triumph: Ten Stories of Hope and Growth, Including My Own. (Please see www.TurningTraumaIntoTriumph.com). He is presently completing a book which emphasizes the integration of metaphysics into psychotherapy, titled Seeking Soulmates, Spirit Guides and Past Lives: An Introduction to Metaphysical Relationships.
