Sylvia Hammerman, Ed.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice since 1981, working with adults and children in individual, couples and family therapy, supervision and consultation. Her therapy approach involves methods that address the mind/body/spirit connection, including hypnotherapy, EMDR, past life therapy and other techniques targeted to the client's specific needs.
Though her clientele is broad-based, with many different goals, she especially enjoys working with creative, spiritually open people. She also has a special interest in trauma and its intergenerational legacy, Holocaust survivor families, and the dynamics of dialogue as a healing experience.
