Stephanie Riseley trained to do Past Life Regressions with noted psychiatrist Brian Weiss, M.D., but her introduction to Past Life Regressions did not begin there. She experienced past life "bleed-through" before she was three-years-old. In dreams, she could "see" herself as a male doctor, completely overwhelmed with rows of wounded soldiers in metal cots, all lined up neatly. As she grew older she dismissed the dreams as sheer imagination, until Christmas of 1966, when she was 19, and she found herself stranded in Munich, Germany. Every time she heard the wailing hee-haws of police sirens, she felt a visceral, uncontrollable panic. She felt compelled find a place to hide, because she knew her life depended on it.

She continued to have "events" like that, yet continued to successfully talk herself out of their validity and reality, until 2001, when her husband of 12 years, died in her arms, but then "came back" to her and began to narrate his new reality from the "In Between." She tells that story of reincarnation and soul mates re-uniting in her best selling book: Love From Both Sides - A True Story of Soul Survival and Sacred Sexuality, (Findhorn Press, 2008). In the book, her husband re-assures her that her dreams were real. She, indeed, had been a male, Jewish doctor in her former lifetime and had died in Auschwitz.

Stephanie is a Certified Hypnotherapist, and has an active private practice in Los Angeles, where she helps people access the power of their own inner-wisdom. She uses many techniques to help her clients achieve success; besides Past Life Regressions, she also uses Cognitive Behavior Modification and Guided Interactive Therapy.

Stephanie worked for UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, doing the field research that became the DSM III (Revised), she also had six years of Jungian dream analysis training at UCLA’s NPI. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley (1988), and a Master’s degree from UCLA (1991).
