Hitomi Akamatsu, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Medical Intuitive is experienced in the therapeutic use of altered states of consciousness including Regression Therapy and Theta Techniques. Her current PhD thesis at Monash University includes a consciousness research into transpersonal experiences to find out how counselling professionals can assist the spiritual needs of the clients. She is a full professional member of International Association for Regression Research & Therapies.

Hitomi is pursuing her PhD in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology at Monash University, Australia. Her research interests are in LBL (Life-Between-Lives) by Dr. Michael Newton. Her multiple degrees and trainings at Universities in Japan and Australia have been in International Relations, Psychology, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Computer Science and Medical Sciences.
