The 2004 Annual International Conference Program
The 2004 Annual International Conference opened with a plenary address from Walter Semkiw, IARRT Board Member, Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician and Assistant Chief of Occupational Medicine at a major medical center in San Francisco and closed with Peter Novak, author, The Lost Secret of Death: Our Divided Souls and the Afterlife.

The formal three-day program at the 2004 Annual International Conference included plenary sessions, Keynote Speakers, workshops, pre-conference 3-day training institutes, post-conference continuing education,"Meet the Author" panels, more than 20 2½ -hour workshops, banquet, and vendors with arts and crafts, jewelry, pottery, etc. and service providers such as: Massage Therapists, Reiki, Shamans, Psychics, and much more. Pre-Conference Training Institutes and Post-Conference Continuing Education Classes by Hans tenDam CPTL, Joseph Costa, PhD, Morris Netherton, PhD, and Robert Tarzan, PhD.

Who Attended?
Practicing regression therapists, practicing psychotherapists moving into regression, recommended students in regression training programs, and researchers into the effectiveness of regression therapy as well as Spiritual and Wellness seekers. The IARRT conference is open to the public.

"My adventures in spirituality and emotional recovery began in 1987 primarily working with people afflicted and/or affected by addiction. Having limited memory of my own childhood, I quickly learned that it was a phenomenon connected closely with childhood trauma. Thus, I began training in hypnosis, achieving the advanced master’s level and instructor certification.

Soon thereafter, under hypnosis, a client went into spontaneous regression to a past life at my instruction, “Let’s go back to where the problem first began.” The client began speaking a language I had never heard. Thus, began my initiation into the reality of past lives. Through personal experience and through study, my understanding expanded to the neophyte level at which I am currently.

Through Dorothy Neddermeyer, I learned of IARRT and the 2004 annual conference. She convinced me that attending the conference would be an exciting and enlightening experience. There, I learned how much I do not know!! And as promised, I had an exciting and enlightening experience.

A wonderfully selected group of teachers shared their knowledge and experiences most graciously. Each presenter seemed prepared and was both interesting and informative. Presentations by Dr. Raymond Moody, Judy Goodman, Dr. Joseph Costa and the panel of authors were absolutely awesome. Having attended many conferences during my career with the NC State Board of Education, this conference rated among the best I ever attended. The people I met, the things I learned, the excellent variety of experiences I was prompted to become a member of IARRT.

Currently, my work involves day long intensive therapy. I spend a full day or several days working with the client, staying focused on healing issues which have prevented them from having the happiness in their lives that they desire. Clients stay in my home, and we work from awakening to sleep on the issues standing in the way of happy relationships with self, higher power, and people. This intensive process allows the client to have the support and nurturing during the entire healing experience, thus the process moves deeper and more quickly than can be achieved if the client comes once or twice a week. And in some cases without the intensive process the client would not have been able to move into the deeper levels of pain and process it to effect the healing.

My clients are highly motivated to spend the time, energy and money ($1,000/ day). An Intensive program ranges from one to ten days. The time necessary to complete the healing process depends on previous work, awareness and desire." ~ Barbara Caraway
